Key Reasons Why Americans Accuse The Gop Party Of Treason

By Barbara Taylor

Since President Trump took office, the United States of America has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. In addition, the grand old union has been instrumental in supporting president trump through keeping quite as he continues with his rhetoric. This has not gone well with the citizens who have accused the gop party of treason.

Covering up of Russian hacking investigations. It has come to suffice that the email leakage of the democratic candidate was not a coincidence but a plan hatched by Russia and well executed with the help of the Republicans. In addition, the president attempted to cover the investigations by sacking the Federal Bureau of Investigation director, thereby making the situation worse.

Attempt at scattering the Iran nuclear deal. President Obama, tried as much as possible to improve relations with the Muslim world. For this reason, with the help of other European nations such as England and Germany, a deal was reached to remove sanctions against Iran thereby diffusing tensions. By decertifying the deal, Trump has made American look like an untrustworthy nation that cannot keep its promises.

Advocating for repealing of Obama care. Many Americans from both political divide have lauded the Affordable Care Act since it has enabled many less privileged citizens afford basic healthcare service. But for republicans anything sponsored by the democrats is bad no matter how good it is for the nation and have already started a process of repealing it. This is bad news for the nation since it will leave many people exposed.

Sticking by President Trump. Despite his weird behaviors and rhetoric, most of the Republican members have stuck with Trump no matter how unpopular his policies and steps are with the American citizens. This does not augur well with the people since they seem to put their interests ahead of the citizens whom they are representing.

Attacking NATO allies. It has always been a practice that the United States stands by its allies no matter the situation. But with the republicans this has not been the case since the president has constantly been attacking NATO and its members thereby siding with America's arch enemy the former Soviet Union, creating a bad picture for the nation.

Increase in hatred and racial discrimination. The United States of America has always been seen as country that welcomes diversity no matter which part of the world one originated from. This has changed with the Republican government since racial segregation has been in the increase, leading even to protests in the sporting world using the bending knee posture.

Provoking other nations. During the recent United Nations General Assembly, Donald Trump viciously attacked the president of North Korea and called him names. This was an unprecedented move never seen before the floor of the United Nations. This has painted America bad before the international community since the president even suggested he might attack North Korea leading to a third world war scenario.

Lastly, sharing high-classified documents with the Russian government. Being the representative of the republican party, there has been a bromance relationship between Trump and Putin. In the midst of all the hacking allegations against Russia, the president hosted the Russian foreign minister and proceeded to share with him sensitive security information, putting the country at a risk.
